Case 7: Confidential Client, Groundwater Contamination

Counsel retained Mr. Caputo to assist in developing the defense for a client alleged to be one of the sources of complex groundwater contamination underlying adjoining property.  Mr. Caputo evaluated 10 years worth of data and developed an understanding of the data that supported the contention that the client was not the source of contamination and in fact had never used any of the constituents of concern.

Mr. Caputo worked with counsel in developing the case.  Mr. Caputo assisted counsel in directing additional investigative effort at the site.  He also developed questions to ask other parties as they were deposed.  He also evaluated their testimony as it related to impact on the client’s case.
